Exploring techniques using Photoshop

Tools used

I first drew out the piece & then painted the main lines with a brush using a walnut colour. Then the paint was mixed with water to make the basic shadows. After it was cropped in photoshop. There, the red was added & then I used another layer with another drawing I did that was just scratches with ink. The two was linked & then a final strong contrast was added to get that spot on the forehead.

The trick in all of this, is to not be affraid to explore. Use whatever tools that you have to get to the results you want. Never listlen to those stuck up & limited people that say you cant do this or mix this or that. Stay yourself & create without social walls.
